Eco-sustainability
Measures adopted by Locanda Lo Fòo to respect the environment:
Energy saving:
- solar panels for the production of domestic hot water which, in case of excess, also contribute to heating the house;
- heating is provided by a high-efficiency +100% LPG condensing boiler;
- electricity is produced by the photovoltaic system on the roof of the building which allows us to be electrically self-sufficient and with zero impact;
- use of 100% low-energy light bulbs;
- heat-insulating windows with double glazing and double seals
- separate waste collection for both our production and that of our guests;
- use of a composter for the wet fraction;
- external watering of the green areas with water intended for non-potable uses;
- almost total elimination of disposables;
- use of eco-friendly cleaning detergents;
- use of soap and shampoo dispensers;
Food:
- 90% of the products used for breakfast are zero km, some of which are even zero meters as they are prepared by us: jams, bread, fruit, biscuits, cakes, etc.;
Activities:
- excursions, trekking, biking, horseback riding, Nordic walking and snowshoeing;
- information to the guest on environmental and territorial policy;
